321 WATER

The Facts

It takes at least 3 litres of water to produce 1 litre of bottled water.

There are many reasons you should feel good about drinking 321 Water. The environmental impact of this product has been carefully considered at every stage of its life cycle, from design, manufacturing, to the way it is used, as well as its disposal at the end of life.

The Filter
The easy-to-use plunger mechanism also contains the filter. One push is all it takes to remove chlorine or other unpleasant tastes and odours.

What is the Filter Tablet made of?
The tablet is a HydropalTMActivated Carbon Impregnated Polymer filter. The tablet has a high concentration of activated carbon, which captures chemicals and solids within the filter tablet.

What is activated carbon?
It is a highly porous filtering material prepared by exposing organic materials such as coconut shells to high temperatures and steam, creating an enormous surface area for absorption. This super-porous carbon is used to absorb impurities from potable tap water such as odours, tastes, organic compounds and residual chlorine. It is low impact, aesthetically pleasing, durable, portable, and free of harmful chemicals, leaving you free to enjoy every last drop.

The Bottle

321 Water is the first BPA-free bottle to be manufactured in Australia. Bisphenol-A (BPA) is a harmful chemical that has been commonly used in the production of food storage and drink containers worldwide. It has been proved beyond doubt that BPA leaks from these products into the food or drink they are contained in and is then consumed by us. "A recent Health Canada study found that the majority of canned soft drinks it tested had low, but measurable levels of bisphenol A. This exposure through metal cans is due to the fact that BPA is an ingredient in the internal coating of food and beverage metal cans used to protect the food from direct contact with metal." *
