Our Top Three Iced Coffee Recipes

Did you know Upperpcup is not only great for hot drinks but also perfect for iced coffee?

The conical bottom is engineered to produce a perfectly poured coffee by distributing liquid ratios evenly & allowing the coffee's flavoursome aroma to be enjoyed.

The double-wall works to insulate the drink, keeping your cold coffee cooler for longer.

The smart design will also minimise condensation and make the cup comfortable to use and carry.

Vietnamese Iced Coffee

Our personal favourite recipe is from Bon Appetit. It is simple to make and delicious to drink while not being too sweet or rich.

You will need:

  • 2 tablespoons of dark-roast coffee grinds
  • 2 tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk
  • Ice

Simply steep the coffee grounds in a heatproof container with 2/3 cup boiling water for 4 minutes. Next, pour through a coffee filter into a heatproof glass. Stir in condensed milk until blended. Add some ice, give it a stir, and serve in your Uppercup.

Cold Brew Iced Coffee

This is great for days when you are wanting to go without milk or are wanting a stronger iced coffee. It does take more time than other methods, however, we think it is totally worth the wait.

We personally like to use a coffee plunger for this type of coffee as it is easy and doesn't break the bank.

In the container of your coffee plunger, we would estimate add the ratio of 1 to 7, one part coffee to 7 parts cold water.

Mix the coffee and cold water together and place the lid on. It will now need 12 hours to extract in the fridge. We would suggest making it at night so it is ready for your morning coffee.

After the 12 hours, slowly plunge the coffee, then add some ice to your Uppercup and pour the coffee over.

The Sweet-Tooth Iced Coffee

If you are after something a bit cheeky, this one is for you.

Simply make your espresso then mix in two teaspoons of sugar. Next, place a scoop of ice-cream and a few ice blocks in your cup and pour the coffee over the top.

Simple, but delicious.
