Three Healthy Drinks For On The Go

Healthy drinks are one way to stay hydrated but are also a great opportunity to introduce extra nutrients into your diet that you might not otherwise receive. In a busy world, sometimes your health is something that isn't focused on as much as it should be. However, with these three easy drinks, you can supplement your daily diet in a simple way that can be taken on the go.

Detox Water

Simple things such as staying hydrated can largely impact your general well being. Water makes up to around 60% of your body weight and plays a vital role in transporting nutrients and waste within the body.

A great way to stay hydrated is to introduce Detox Water into your daily routine. By adding fruit or vegetables you can make your water consumption more interesting. Simply cut up the fruit or vegetables you like the flavour or aroma of and add them to your water.

Detox Water for a nutrient boost:

  • Goji Berries - Rich in nutrients, the benefits are endless.
  • Apple - for something sweet
  • Mint - for a dash of freshness

Smoothies
To introduce extra nutrients into your day we suggest smoothies. Smoothies are often used as a treat but depending on what you use as ingredients they can be a healthy way to add fruit, vegetable or even dairy into your diet.

A great sweet smoothie with lots of vitamins is a berry smoothie. Simply blend the below ingredients, pour them into your 321 Detox Bottle and you have a delicious smoothie on the go.

  • 4 Strawberries
  • 1 Small handful of Blueberries
  • 1 Small handful of Raspberries
  • 1Tsp of Honey
  • A Squeeze of Fresh Lemon juice
  • 6 Ice cubes

If you are looking for something with a bit more kick to add protein to your diet, perhaps after a gym session, for example, we suggest a protein shake.

A super simple way to have protein is to place the following ingredients into a  blender:

  • your choice of protein powder
  • your favourite kind of milk (soy, almond, cows milk - any is fine)
  • any fruit (berries are great to add some sweetness or banana to keep you fuller for longer)
  • greens

This shake will be substantial enough to be a snack or meal replacement.
