Where can BPA be found?
BPA is a harmful chemical that has been commonly used in the production of food storage and drink containers worldwide.
Why are people concerned about BPA bad for you?
One reason people may be concerned about BPA is due to human exposure, as it has been proven, that items containing BPA can leak from these products into the food or drink they are contained in and is then consumed by us.
What can I do to prevent exposure from BPA in my water?
Use BPA free products and avoid non-reusable water bottles, like the 321Water Filter Bottle and Uppercup.
The plastic we use to make our water bottles is Tritan™ Copolyester, a strong, clear plastic which is BPA-free. It doesn't contain BPS (bisphenol S) or any other bisphenols. Tritan has been tested by four third-party labs and shown to be free of any estrogenic and androgenic activity (EA-free). The top of 321 Water is made from food grade polypropylene, which is also BPA-free plastic.
